Reigning Champion Spurs Lose Exhibition Game In Germany On Buzzer Beater

On Wednesday, the reigning NBA champions took on Alba Berlin and were victim to the first buzzer-beater of the season.

Former Xavier forward Jamel McLean sank the running floater to win the game. McLean played for the Musketeers from 2008 to 2011 after transferring from Tulsa.

All the Spurs starters played in this game, unlike many exhibition games. But as head coach Gregg Popovich said following the 94-93 loss, Alba Berlin just played better.
