In Subject 2923, Remnant players will receive a ton of awesome new content. That includes two completely new zones to explore, each filled with quests, bosses, and rewards. Rewards will include new trinkets, awesome weapons, modifications, and full armor sets. There’s will also be new cosmetic skins, as well. The new zones will be an abandoned military base on Earth and the mountainous world of Reisum.

The new Remnant DLC isn’t just filler content, either. It’s a full story campaign building off of the base game and previous DLC. In Subject 2923 players will investigate the origin of Remnant’s “Dreamers.” The Dreamer is a major character in Remnant and the nature of its being has drastic ramifications for the game’s universe. It’s also, coincidentally, heavily tied into another of Gunfire’s games, named Chronos. The mystery of the Dreamer and others like them is perhaps Remnant’s biggest secret.
The timing of Subject 2923’s release is no coincidence. The game has just spent a week available as a free game on the Epic Games Store. Thousands of new players are checking out the game, and now they have two DLC packs to check out should they want more. For those who missed the free availability, the Complete Edition of Remnant is on sale on Steam for $40 and includes the base game and both DLCs.
Remnant: From the Ashes is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
