The Secret Service has beefed up Reno’s security, and DOJ officials close to the A.G. say she is “reluctantly adjusting some things.” A frequent traveler on behalf of administration policies, Reno canceled trips last week to Miami and Vermont. A DOJ spokesman downplays the threats, saying the travel was postponed in part so Reno could spend more time in Washington monitoring the Oklahoma case. She plans visits this week to Ohio and Indiana. Asked about the hate talk, Reno said: “You’ve got to continue to put one foot in front of the other.”
