Texans coach Bill O’Brien and Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt each have interest in the Browns quarterback, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning.

From Schefter:

Houston and Tennessee each struggle with quarterback uncertainty. The Texans benched Ryan Fitzpatrick in favor of Ryan Mallett, and the Titans are working with rookie Zach Mettenberger.

Hoyer, set to become a free agent after this season, has said he wants to stay in Cleveland, his home town. But the Browns, who drafted Johnny Manziel in the first round of last year’s draft, haven’t yet displayed desire for a long-term commitment to the veteran.

Cleveland hosts Houston on Sunday, so O’Brien, while evaluating his own new quarterback’s play, will have a curious eye on the opponent’s.
