According to Anderson, the Bucs and Johnson have agreed on a five-year contract with $24 million in guaranteed money.
Johnson, 27, is ranked No. 6 in Sporting News' list of the top 50 2014 unrestricted free agents. The Bucs get a much-needed dynamic pass rusher and strong every-down run stopper. At 6-7, 270, Johnson is an imposing force off the edge. He had 11 1/2 sacks in 2012, and because he drew more blocking attention, that number dropped to 3 1/2 in 2013.
