Allen still has not chosen a team after ESPN reported he would make a decision following All-Star weekend. Cleveland appeared to be the leader in the Allen sweepstakes, especially with former teammate LeBron James luring the sharpshooter to come to Ohio last month.

While Allen still has time to sign with a contender before the playoffs, one general manager told Wojnarowski “It’s getting late in the game for this to happen.”
The NBA’s all-time leader in three-pointers has continued to work out but has not told his agent, Jim Tanner, whether he wants to play, per Wojnarowski. Allen averaged 9.6 points per game last season with the Heat, shooting 37.5 percent from three-point range.
