Treadwell was injured when he was brought down at the goal line by Auburn linebacker Kris Frost. The play was initially ruled a touchdown, but after a review, it was clear that Treadwell was stripped off the ball just inches before it crossed the goal line and as he suffered the injury.

The play occurred with less than two minutes remaining. Treadwell was taken off the field on a cart and will miss the rest of the season.
“He’s down, obviously,” Ole Miss offensive coordinator Dan Werner told the Clarion-Ledger. “I told him he’s a warrior and played probably the best game I’ve seen him play yet.”
Treadwell caught a career-high 10 passes against Auburn for 103 yards — his third 100-yard game of the season and his career — with a 10-yard TD reception.
