The league on Tuesday informed Panthers coach Ron Rivera that his linebacker will not be fined or suspended for making contact with an official during Carolina’s 38-17 loss in Green Bay on Sunday, according to an ESPN.com report.

The Pro Bowler was ejected in the third quarter after the back judge grabbed him from behind during a small scrum, prompting No. 59 to jerk his arm and self out of the official’s grasp. Kuechly had no idea who was behind him.
“To tell you the truth, I didn’t know who was grabbing me,’’ Kuechly told ESPN after the game. “I was trying to get out of there a little bit. You’ve just got to stay calm in those situations and just walk away and let it take care of itself.''
