Jackson, 34, spent all eight of his NFL seasons in Buffalo but the club decided to stick with Anthony Dixon, Bryce Brown and rookie Karlos Williams as backups to LeSean McCoy.

Jackson reunites with Marshawn Lynch, who was his teammate in Buffalo from 2007 to 2010. With no recovery timetable for Lynch’s backup, Robert Turbin (sprained ankle), Jackson will compete with Christine Michael for carries when Lynch needs a breather.

The Seahawks have more roster moves coming, according to reports.
