But those moves don’t come for free, as Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Raptors have agreed to a trade that will send Steve Novak to the Jazz in order to shed his salary and create more cap space.

According to Wojnarowski, the Raptors will also send a second-round pick to the Jazz. In exchange, they’ll receive guard Diante Garrett, whose $915,000 salary for the upcoming season is not guaranteed. The Raptors plan to waive him.
Novak has $7.2 million left on his contract over two years. The forward played just 10 minutes a game for the Raptors in the 2013-14 season, averaging 3.3 points and 1.1 rebounds.
